Bathroom Rug Set
Finding the perfect bathroom rug set around can be quite a chore. There are so many variable to choose from. Do you pick a rug set by design, color, or size? Or do you first figure out what design you like then choose size and color?
In my opinion it is always better to decide the design first then size and color, but what is even more important is the material it’s made of especially if you have allergies.
When choosing the material for that perfect bathroom rug set you need to look into whether the product you are using is environmentally friendly. You have a number of choices.
The biggest decision here would be on how durable each of the rugs are and how much you want to spend. It would also be useful to look into how long each of the materials would take to break down, or if it’s recyclable when you eventually have to dispose of it.
- Cotton – One of the most widely used materials in clothing makes for a very nice rug, but it also has the shortest life. It wears out quicker than the other 2 materials mentioned here, but it is environmentally safe when disposed.
- Polyacrylic – a form of plastic lasts a long time while still keeping its color. The drawback of this material is takes almost forever to breakdown when disposed, but it can be recycled.
- Microfiber – is a process rather than a material. It’s a process that takes ordinary material like
polyester, and weaves it into fibers so small that a single strand is a 100 times finer than a human hair.
Once you have decided on your preferred material of you need to look into design. Some design possibilities include:
- Contemporary
- Kids
- Reversible
- Traditional
- Luxury
- Solid
- Striped
Each design has its benefits and its drawbacks it just comes down to your taste and what best fits in your bathroom.
In the end it all boils down to how much you are willing to spend. You can find a bathroom rug set for upwards of a $100 or more for an extra large one single piece or you can get a 3 piece bath rug set for a fraction of the cost.
